We started the day 3 of Maneesha & Clayton’s Indian Wedding at 7am with portraits, most of South Indian Weddings starts early morning. Being an Indian Wedding Photographer for 5 years now and have done 100’s of Indian Wedding Photography, I can say that I am used to the timing now and help my couple’s plan their timeline based on their Muhurth(auspicious time for the ceremony) if they can’t afford or don’t have a planner for the big day.
Clayton’s baraat was the highlight in the wedding, he entered the venue in a beautiful chariot. The ritual for the Telugu Wedding takes about 2hrs from start to finish.
Here’s the short overview of the Telugu Wedding Rituals:

Canyonwood Ridge is a Hill Country Wedding venue in the Austin area, located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Austin in the “Wedding Capital of Texas” of Dripping Springs.
The 12,000 square foot venue sits on a ridge top wrapped in oak trees with scenic hill country views and was designed specifically for weddings. The outdoor ceremony site, as well as the indoor Chapel, offer planning flexibility and picturesque backdrops for a wedding of up to 300. The Chapel enables an indoor ceremony to protect against the unpredictable weather in central Texas, and is adjacent to our large Reception Hall, in order to provide a seamless transition from ceremony to reception.
