Perched atop the rolling hills of Austin’s picturesque Hill Country, Canyonwood Ridge provided an idyllic stage for Vismaya and Chris’s beautiful Indian Wedding. Their love story showcased how even the fiercest football rivalry could evolve into a bond of deep affection and mutual respect, bringing together two people from seemingly opposite worlds. Vismaya, an ardent Longhorns fan, and Chris, a die-hard Sooners devotee, proved that even the fiercest football rivalry couldn’t stand in the way of true love. Their Indian wedding celebration was a vibrant blend of cultural traditions, sports-inspired humor, and pure romance.

The hilltop venue’s breathtaking views stretched for miles, offering a serene yet dramatic backdrop for their vows. Vismaya and Chris chose to exchange their promises beneath a canopy adorned with fresh florals in hues of burnt orange and crimson—a nod to their rival teams. As the couple stood hand-in-hand, their guests—family and friends from across the country—witnessed the merging of two hearts and two fandoms.

Over the course of three days, Vismaya and Chris hosted a wedding celebration that perfectly blended Indian wedding traditions with modern Texan flair. From the vibrant Sangeet night to the elegant reception filled with heartfelt speeches and energetic performances, every moment was steeped in joy.

Vismaya looked radiant in a crimson and gold saree, her intricate gold jewelries & mesmerizing jasmine flowers while Chris donned a classic Kurta.
